HTML Help: Better Ranking
How do I get a better search engine ranking for my site? There is no one-size-fits-all answer to that question. For one site it may be what they are doing wrong, for another site it may be what they are not doing that keeps them from better rankings.
Most people just build a web site without giving too much thought to search engine optimization, but true search engine optimization begins with the very structure of your site.
There are two parts to search engine optimization. One part consists of on-page/on-site optimization techniques, and the other part consists of attracting quality links and do-it-yourself link building.
I've written an ebook titled SEO for YOU: Search Engine Optimization for Ordinary Everyday People. Obviously I can't adequately tell you how to get better search engine rankings in a quick FAQ format like this page when it took a 102-page ebook to teach all my secrets strategies and techniques.
You can learn more about this ebook on the SEO for YOU product page.
While SEO for YOU covers on-site and on-page optimization, that's only half of the puzzle to high search engine rankings, Link Popularity is the other half. Another ebook, Industrial Strength Link Building, covers the rest.
Adding high value, one-way links that point to your site is how link popularity is built—not through reciprocal links. Industrial Strength Link Building will show you the way.
Search Engine RankingsIn case you're wondering what qualifies me to teach search engine optimization, this site has dozens of first page rankings for hotly contested keywords. For example, at the time I made this page...
...this is the #1 ranked site on Google for web design tutorials out of almost 50 million competing pages! That, my esteemed visitor, is only accomplished by someone that knows real search engine optimization.
I'm sure you'd agree having the #3 ranking for html tutorials and the #4 ranking for CSS tutorials is also very impressive.
You can go check those results yourself. Rankings do fluctuate, but you should find this site in good standings for those and dozens of related search terms—and yeah, I could have listed dozens of other first page Google rankings, and top rankings at other search engines as well, but I think the point has been made—any more would just be bragging. :)
The point is, I do know how to get good search engine rankings. A lot of people talk a good game, but where do their sites rank? It comes down to this, I've got the proof, and I'm willing to share what I know . . . for a price. You just have to decide if you really want good search engine rankings.
PS: Check the Specials page, I sometimes bundle SEO for YOU and Industrial Strength Link Building together at a significant discount.
