HTML Paragraph Tutorial
Browser SupportA double-line break is created in a web page by using the HTML paragraph tag.
The space between this short paragraph and the previous one was caused by coding a paragraph tag between them.
Here's how to code a paragraph:
This is one sentence. <p> This is another sentence. </p>
A web page with that code on it would look like this:
This is one sentence.You can see where I inserted the paragraph tag is where an empty line is added. Note that I indented the text and colored it green to set it apart.
This is another sentence.
Also note that you should close each paragraph you open, and you should close one before opening another.
